Notes on typography
We are always happy to work with neighbours and small teams. The brief was short and clear, which is always a good start. Afterwards we wrote down what we would do differently next time.
Printing a draft and pinning it to the wall helped us see the problems. The final version feels calm, which is exactly what we wanted. We kept the color palette to two colors and one neutral.
The client knew their customers very well, so we listened a lot. Small details like spacing and line length made the biggest difference.
We tested a few versions on real phones before choosing one. It took three rounds of feedback, which felt just right.
Most of the work was removing things rather than adding them. We started with paper sketches before opening any software. The budget was small, so every decision had to earn its place.
