Designing for local shops
Most of the work was removing things rather than adding them. Good typography solved more problems here than any illustration could.
It took three rounds of feedback, which felt just right. The brief was short and clear, which is always a good start. Printing a draft and pinning it to the wall helped us see the problems. The client knew their customers very well, so we listened a lot.
We are always happy to work with neighbours and small teams. We kept the color palette to two colors and one neutral.
